SilverFast SE 6.6 is a new solution from LaserSoft Imaging which can be used to support most of the UMAX scanners for Mac and Win users at a very low cost. SilverFast SE is designed to work with all major scanners. Images will especially benefit from SilverFast's intelligent auto-adjust and LAB-based unsharp-masking, which does not sharpen the color noise of single channels.
The SilverFast SE ScanPilot will help the novice user to get the best workflow right from the start. Images will especially benefit from SilverFast's intelligent auto-adjust and LAB-based unsharp-masking, which does not sharpen the color noise of single channels, hence avoiding the extra noise. The new SF SRD (Smart Removal of Defects) is a unique method of getting rid of dust and scratches. SF ACR is the most comfortable way to bring faded out colours back to life. SilverFast SE NegaFix has support for over 120 different negative film profiles and the ability to adjust film exposure in real-time.
Please note:PowerLook 2100XL-USB scanner is not supported by this version of SilverFast SE.
SilverFast SE ONLY supports the scanners shown on the SE supported scanners list! This product is not suitable for refund.
SilverFast SE can be used with Adobe Photoshop, TWAIN compliant applications.
SilverFast SE now has NegaFix - the intelligent negative function with support for more than 120 film types and an 'exposure' slider.

- Supported Mac Operating System: Mac OS 10.3 or higher
Note: ACARD AEC6712TS PCI Ultra Wide SCSI Adapter recommended for the G3 and G4 towers with Available PCI slots.
ACARD AEC-67162M recommended for SCSI scanners in conjunction with G5 towers with PCI-X slots. (G5 with PCI-E slots please see this technical support document SC00332.)
When you purchase the ACARD, you will also need a SCSI 68 pins male/50 pins Centronics female converter.
