MAKE YOUR SCSI SCANNER WORK WITH USB IN OS 10.2~10.4.9
Your UMAX SCSI scanner will work with USB connection with SilverFast software in OS X (10.2.1~10.4.x) if you have a USB-to-SCSI adapter.
You can purchase this USB solution kit from us at www.umax.com
All the USB solution kits from umax.com have been fully tested and work with Mac OS10.2~10.4.9.
Installation:
1. Install the SilverFast software in the computer.
2. Shutdown the computer.
3. Connect the SCSI end of "USB to Ultra SCSI Adapter Set" to the scanner.
4. Plug in the power cord to "USB to Ultra SCSI Adapter Set".
5. Turn on the scanner and wait for it until the two LED lights are in green solid mode.
6. Connect the USB end from "USB to Ultra SCSI Adapter Set" to the computer's USB port.
7. Turn on the computer and start the SilverFast application.
